1. General Agreement

By accessing this website and engaging with the services provided by Busia Goldfield, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between Busia Goldfield ("The Company") and any entity or individual ("The Buyer") interested in the procurement of gold bullion.

2. Qualified Buyer Status

Our services and products are strictly available to "Qualified Buyers."

• KYC Compliance: All potential buyers must undergo a mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening.


• Documentation: Proof of funds and corporate registration documents may be required prior to the issuance of a Full Corporate Offer (FCO).

3. Product Specifications & Purity

• Standard: We supply gold bars with a certified purity of 99.9% (or higher, depending on the refined batch).


• Assay: The final assay report produced at the point of export in Uganda is considered the primary record of purity. However, buyers have the right to conduct an independent assay at the destination refinery.

4. Pricing & Payment

• LBMA Link: All pricing is based on the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) second fixing on the date of the transaction, minus any agreed-upon discounts.


• Currency: All transactions are conducted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Export and Shipping

• Title Transfer: The title of the goods remains with Busia Goldfield until full payment is received.


• Incoterms: Unless specified otherwise, shipments are typically handled on a CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) basis to the buyer's designated airport.


• Risk: While the shipment is 100% insured, the risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon official signature of receipt at the destination.

6. Legal Compliance & Governance

• Ugandan Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.


• International Trade: We strictly adhere to the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.


• Environmental Responsibility: Our operations comply with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) standards.

7. Force Majeure

Busia Goldfield shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, or sudden changes in national mining regulations.

8. Amendments

Busia Goldfield reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or engagement in trade after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
